Beating France is not something that many are capable of, but can this young Belgian team rise when needed?

France is second in the group but has full control of the rest of the group stage. Winning a point in Brussels can be enough for them and given the fact that it’s been almost a decade since they lost to Belgium, France is the team in charge.

Now, Belgium has only one win in the last five games which is not something we are used to from this team.

France is second in the group with 6 points, one shy that Italy. They are coming off a routine 4-1 victory over the underdog in this group Israel. Technically, this was a home game for Israel but it was actually played in Budapest which felt more of a home side for the French. Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga put France on the board after only 7 minutes. Israel tied things up in the middle of the first half and the score was tied for only four minutes. Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku brought France back up front and they dominated the ball for the rest of the way. Late in the second half, Didier Deschamps subbed in a pair of youngsters who were ready for the opportunity. Lazio’s Matteo Guendouzi and PSG’s Bradley Barcola scored late in the game to set the final score. This was France’s fourth win in the last six games.
