The Bengals have yet to win a home game and are third in the AFC North with a 2-4 record. Burrow threw for 392 yards in the 41-38 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens. However, it is obvious that their form goes in the desirable trend as the Bengals won 17-7 against the New York Giants in the last one. Burrow had a strong start scoring on a career-long, 47-run yard. He went 19 of 28 for 208 yards, which is his second-lowest for the season but still good enough to win.

Neither team has started the season well and are hoping to make things happen as the season progresses. The Browns are excited about Nick Chubb’s return, as he is expected to take the field for the first time since a Week 2 knee injury prematurely ended his 2023 season. Chubb comes right in time for the Browns, who were active on the trade market this past week. Cleveland traded wideout Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday and saw running back Jerome Ford sustain a hamstring injury during the first quarter of a 20-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday. Besides Jerome, the Browns will be without safety Ronnie Hickman Jr. and center Ethan Pocic, who did not practice this past week. Defensive end Myles Garrett, cornerback Denzel Ward, and running back D’Onta Foreman were limited but are expected to be active on Sunday. Just like the Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals also had a poor start. After losing the first three games of the season, they won two of the following three, most recently beating the New York Giants 17-7. The Bengals’ defense finally stepped up, holding an opponent under 24 points for the first time since a season-opening 16-10 setback against the New England Patriots. That should not be a problem to do against the Browns, as they are averaging the third-fewest points per game in the NFL with 15.8 and have dropped their past four contests. Still, the Browns have won the last six home games against the Bengals and have scored an average of 27.5 points per contest during that skid. However, the Bengals’ only player who missed practice last week was DJ Turner II. That puts them in a much better situation than the Browns, so we go with Joe Burrow and the Bengals to cover the -3.5-point spread.
