It was a game to remember for Lions quarterback Jared Goff who set a NFL record by completing all 18 of his passes. Just to put this in perspective, Kurt Warner held the previous record going 10-of-10 back in 2005. Goff also had a touchdown reception for the first time in his career, catching a pass from Amon-Ra St. Brown. Goff threw for 292 yards in his career night.

Goff made history by competing all 18 of his pass attempts against Seattle and even caught a touchdown pass from his favorite target, receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. That is as good of a performance as you will see, and Goff’s confidence is sky high as he is about to go against the highest-paid player in the league, Dak Prescott. The Cowboys quarterback has solid numbers, but his team is still waiting for their first home win this season. Prescott and Jalen Tolbert will need to take on even more of a load against the Lions since the Cowboys injury list is packed with big names. Cornerback DaRon Bland, a first-team All-Pro in 2023 who has not played this season, was designated to return to practice and was a full participant but will stay out for Sunday’s game. Cornerback Trevon Diggs also showed up and is listed as doubtful for the game against the Lions. Rookie defensive end Marshawn Kneeland was placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four games. The Lions came back from the bye week healthy. Center Frank Ragnow, who missed the previous game, practiced in full on Wednesday. Regardless of the supporting cast, this will be a showdown between Prescott and Goff. The Cowboys may give the home fans a show, but we still go with the Lions to win.
