Then, they went to Chicago and lost 24-18 to the Bears and failed 24-19 at home to the Green Bay Packers in the last one. Quarterback Matthew Stafford went 29 of 45 for 260 yards. Now they are at the bottom of the NFC West with a 1-4 record. The Rams are off to their worst start since moving to LA in 2016. The last time they dropped four of their first five to start the season was when they were in St. Louis in 2014.

The Las Vegas Raiders shocked many with their win against the Ravens in Baltimore, and just when we thought that they may be for real this season, the collapse followed. The Raiders lost to the desperate Carolina Panthers in the next one, and after beating the Cleveland Browns, starting quarterback Gardner Minshew was benched by head coach Antonio Pierce. The Raiders are currently on a two-game losing streak, coming off a 32-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Second-year quarterback Aidan O’Connell made his first NFL start and opened the game 4 for 4 for 55 yards to lead a touchdown drive. However, he failed to build on that, finishing 27 of 40 for 227 yards. The Raiders are now at the bottom of the NFC West with a 2-4 record.

Rookie Brock Bowers is expected to step in Adams’ place, more because the Raiders have no other options than he is really ready to take things over. The Los Angeles Rams, also losers in the last two contests, have much better news going into this week. Cooper Kupp is finally ready to get back on the field after hurting his ankle in Week 2 of the season. The return of the Super Bowl 56 MVP should create more opportunities for the other skill position players for the Rams, including running back Kyren Williams, who is averaging 72 yds per game through 5 games. The Rams will miss wide receiver Jordan Whittingham, who is out with a shoulder injury. The Raiders are in a much worse position when it comes to the injuries. Cornerback Jack Jones, defensive end, and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will not play for Vegas. The Rams look way better going into this game, so we go with them to cover the -6.5-point spread.
