Once again, the first event of the 2026 calendar will be returning to the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, and will be hosted at the Estadio Mary Terán de Weiss.

With the release of the confirmed PGL schedule, 2025 is shaping up to be a very hectic and competitive year for eSports. It will be interesting to see how teams will cope with the bloated schedule, with some teams likely to miss out on some events to recharge mentally and physically. The number of events is also highlighted as the reason for the lack of open qualifiers with invitations for all PGL events to be issued based on global Valve Regional Standings (VRS).

Regardless, we as fans can only revel at the thought of getting to enjoy some of the best competitions esports have to offer, week in and week out, with this solid schedule that’s guaranteed to entertain.
