Neither of these two teams can be happy with their start of the Europa League season. Roma has only one point, while Dynamo Kyiv is still waiting for their first. It was quite difficult to have any expectations from the Ukrainian team since their budget is not even close to what it used to, and they have a very tough time bringing in foreign players, which is evident since they only have Brayan Ceballos from Colombia and Eduardo Guerrero from Panama. Dynamo lost both games against Hoffenheim and Lazio and failed to score in either of them. Still, they have six wins in the last ten games and are coming off back-to-back wins in their domestic leagues, scoring seven goals in those two. That gives the sense that Dynamo is actually in good form, but it is questionable if they will be able to transfer that in this match. They have three players on the injury list, the above-mentioned Ceballos, Oleksandr Pikhalyonok, and Andriy Yarmolenko, and all three are playing major roles in the team.
