Following the win at the EURO, Spain has kept their form and are in full control of their group in the Nations League. Manager Luis de la Fuente has a mix of young and experienced players and they work well together on the pitch. After a while, the Spanish national team will play in Cordoba, and there is no doubt that it will be great atmosphere on the stands. Alvaro Morata was not in his recognizable form in the previous game against Denmark, and de la Fuente will probably start Joselu instead. Serbia’s coach Dragan Stojkovic has great memories against Spain, since he scored a pair of goals in a 2-1 Yugoslavia win over Spain in the quarterfinals of the 1990 World Cup in Italy. Stojkovic has been on a hot seat after the early elimination from the EURO, but somehow has kept his job. Still, many players were not happy to play with him, so captain Dusan Tadic and Juventus highest-paid player Dusan Vlahovic are among those who refuse to play for him.
